After Hours

We share our out of hours cover with Rakaia Medical Centre.

 

To contact us out of hours, call the practice 03 302 8105 and choose option 2. This will connect to our nurse triage service. The nurse will give appropriate advice and may call the on call clinician if required. The on-call clinician (doctor or nurse) then arranges the next steps for that patient’s care.

The next steps maybe a phone consultation with the patient, an immediate or delayed face to face consult with the patient, or an immediate referral to hospital.
